What should I do if my child’s adult tooth is knocked out? |
|
| |
A: |
Locate the tooth and rinse it gently in cool water only (DO NOT SCRUB IT & DON’T HOLD THE TOOTH BY IT'S ROOT). If possible place the tooth back in it’s socket and hold it with a clean gauze (best option) or, store the tooth in milk or water and see Dr. Azar immediately. The tooth needs to be stabilized within 30-60 minutes. |
